The traffic was good, I am satisfied with how it improved alot in December.
In November I had 2,500 visits to my blog. This was also nice already. But in December I had alot more visits to my blog. The number is: 6,600 visits, with over 13,000 pageviews.
Now I feel people are really reading my blog. And even coming back. The returning visitor is a little more than 30 % according to Google Analytics.
December is also the holiday period, so less people are online and surfing around the net. I am expecting to get in January even more visits and pageviews than what I got in December.

Congratulations on the new traffic milestone. Hopefully the monetary aspect will follow shortly. Originally I didn’t even plan on monetizing my blog (because I truly do love writing on the topics) but after seeing John Chow’s numbers I couldn’t resist to slap up a few Google Ads. I haven’t had any clicks yet though

Nomar, I got something for you. You said your traffic is picking up, I looked into text-link-ads calculator for you and it seems that you could start making some extra coin selling ad space.
Not sure if it’s up your alley, but it might be what you’ve been looking for.

You should definitely start looking into alternatives, as nice as adsense is, it seems so common that it is often overlooked. With the number of hits you’re getting, you should be able to start applying for others. Shopping.com maybe an alternative side banner.
