Deleting 10 comments in moderation every day is no exception for me. Sometimes it even go over 20. And I do not speak about the comments that are going true the moderation part (spam comments with only 1 link in it). It is really driving me crazy.
I am also busy with another website to make my network bigger. But I will not reveal the url yet. Because I want to have it finished 100 % before I make it public.
health.nu is going a bit slow. The adsense share script is not working correct. I need to search for another share script.
Time is an exclusive thing for me at the moment. I have school exams going on right now. This whole week and the next one. That is why I did not post yesterday. And maybe I will not post tomorrow either. This is an important week for me and my results. I am a guy that always have those 5,5 marks. Because I learn at the last moment.

I’m pretty shure there is a script for spam. I believe you are using word press or something like that. There should be something. If I had this site I would probably do one of these 3 things: 1) change the script a bit like : If (strlen($comment)

2) Add verification code 3) Make people register, however it will decrease the number of posts.

Hey Nomar I sent you an email using the about page. Also I think John Chow just wrote a post about his plugins, in which he mentions a spam filtering blugin.

Nomar, all you need to do is signup for an account at wordpress.com. This will give you the API key that the plugin asks for in the options/admin section.

1) Add a CAPTCHA to comments.
2) Set all comments with links to be moderated
3) Change the code (PHP) yourself and fix the problem.

OK, I installed the akismet plugin with API code.
Hope I get rid of the spam now..

I agree with the Akismet comment. The “DELETE ALL” button is a time saver.
I’m in the same predicament as you…creating a new site. Time is valueable.

CAPTCHA is probably your best bet.
