The Google Pagerank update seems to be finished now. I installed the google toolbar to check pagerank of websites while browsing. My blog ended up with a pagerank 4, with subpages that have pagerank 3 and 2. That is pretty good for a 3 month old blog in my opinion. Maybe I can start sell off some sponsored text links or little buttons on my blog. I’ll keep you updated.
When I checked the mail this morning I noticed a letter from the United States. It was a letter from Text Link Ads.
In the letter they were thanking me that I became a user of buying links on TLA. They also wanted to check in and make sure everything was going well with my account and experiences with them.
They also said:
“For tracking positive affects on natural search engine rankings, please note that results can take 2-3 months of your ads being in place. The reason for this is that the major search engines update their results pages at different times and it can take various time intervals for them to find and give your links ‘credit’.”
I cannot say they are wrong, they are probably right. It takes time to get indexed and ranked high in search engines. And if I had the money, I would pay for the second month also (only on a different site and with a different anchor text). But I am not a wealthy man.
This letter shows that text link ads is a serious company, and I like that. It is a good thing that they send these kind of letters, and want to stay in touch with you.

I am not planning to use TLA’s publisher program at the moment. maybe I will sign up again, but not sure yet. It may bring in some extra dollars ofcourse.

Your PR is great for a 3 months blog. My blog got nothing for the first 5 months. Now it has 3, 4 or 5 on most of the archive pages.
Your traffic is also very good, keep on what you are doing, it seems to be working well.
