January already passed. First off all I must apologize that I did not posted alot the last few days. This is because some trouble at school. My teacher wants me to do the year again. He is saying that I do nothing on school. He thinks I am a lazy boy doing nothing. I cannot give him wrong on that, but it is not cool. I dont want to do the whole year again. But who cares about my private life here, lets go to the earnings.
I earned more than in December. I had some goals for myself that I wanted to reach end January 2007. But the goals where to high. 1 of them was, make $ 100,00 on adsense a month. This goal is to high for me at the moment. I need to create more websites and try to get more traffic to it. My new goal: I want to earn $ 30,00 a month starting now. This is a average of $ 1,00 a day. This is possible for me. I am going to work on it today.
January earnings:
Adsense on my blog: $ 15,81 (Average of $ 0,50 a day)
1 Text link on my blog: $ 23,00
I also have a small webdirectory. I did not write about it before. Inqlusive Web Directory is the name. I am not running ads on it, but people can buy a featured link there for only $ 5,00. I sold 2 of them, that brings in a extra $ 10,00.
That makes a total of $ 48,81 for the month January.
I am also working on a other website, 1 that I have already for some time. But it was not optimized good and not attracting any visitors. it is my Top Hosting website. I uploaded a good template and I want to finish it in 2 weeks from now.
The domain sale (pokeralive.com) is still pending. The auction will end 3 days. I will keep you updated on the whole progress.
Traffic analysis for January:
I expected around 8,000 visits for my blog in January. But it was more that that. I reached the 10,000 visits easily. To be exact:
Visits: 10,702
Page views: 21,674
Average visits / page views a day: 345 / 699
I am satisfied with my traffic, and I am trying to get it up to 12,000 visits in February.

From the first time I saw this blog until now you have made good progress!
I will have to diversify more just as you do. I was thinking about using the same php link directory.

Thanks for the compliment Jim. php link directory is very easy to install & handle. And I earned $ 10 from it and I didnt do anything. That is more than reg fee for the domain I am using for it.

Very cool, Nomar. 30k/month would be nice.

Is my comment being eaten or what?

Are you finding a large number of clicks but a low per click pay out or a small number of clicks with a high per click payout?
February 1st, 2007 at 7:43 pm
A small number of clicks with a high per click payout. My click true % is 0,8 or something like that.

Looks good, Nomar! High eCPM is where it’s at. It’s just figuring out exactly what content will bring that high eCPM, I suppose. I’ve got a couple of ideas. Keep it up, man. And tell your professor to shove it.

Nice traffic rates Nomar, mind telling us where most of it comes from? it’s ok if you don’t want to disclose that.

Good job on the numbers. Don’t be discouraged that you didn’t hit your goal of $100, keep striving for it and you’ll find that sooner rather than later you will hit it.

We can’t all be John Chow. You’re still getting more traffic than I am. In January, I got about 4000 page views.

Thanks for all the replies guys !!

Good job.
Where do you find all this domain names. :))
You blog is popular - 10,000 views is realy good. However, to get to your point you need to work a bit on ad placement… look for some articles in google about it. 15$ for 20,000 page views is not much at all, 0.75c for 1,000 views - does anyone clicks on ads? On average 2% of people click on ads if they are placed right. I am getting as much without any clicks - just from CPM - cost per 1,000 impressions.
Counting: 50c(average) for 1,000 views - $10 a month - place a picture banner 468×60 at the bottom of your site just for CPM purposes to get extra 10$ a month. Look for good place to place an ad. 20,000 pageviews - around 2% = around 400 clicks. even if they are 10c on average = 40$. Something is not right.
$50 should be comming just from adsense alone.
P.S. How long does your directory exist that it gets 2 featured links a month?
February 2nd, 2007 at 9:38 am
Hmm I have to do some serious research I guess.
My directory exists for 2 weeks now hehe. And I got 2 featured links yes. They just like the directory I guess. I did not promote it very big. Just posted some links on forums.
February 2nd, 2007 at 11:26 pm
That is very good.
As about promotion, I would suggest you to write another article.
Everyone who reads your blog would probably like to know how you promoted your website. Your Alexa rating is 214,225 which is realy good…
I think it would be interesting for everybody to know how you did that. Where did you advertise, out ouf your stats - which resources refer most users, etc. I looked at Alexa for your blog a bit ago and it was more than 500,000. I wonder how you got up so fast.
As I see from the graph http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=www.kingnomar.com there is a sharp spike in the moddle of january - I wonder if it was text link ads, if not, can you share?

King Nomar, I agree your blog has tremendously improved since I last visited.
Its better now, because of being just yourself and not a copy of our mentor, http://www.johnchow.com/
By and by, your blog income would sure grow well this season.
Don’t let up, keep pressing.
with love and solidarity from me.
