My Web Directory is doing pretty good at this moment. The traffic is increasing and it will probably get pagerank in the next Google update. Web directories are great for your link popularity. Your website gets noticed by search engines when you submit your site to lots of directories. There are alot of free web directories out on the net, even with pagerank. Advertising: There are 3 text links sold (site wide) at the sponsored links area at the frontpage of the directory. Text links are only $ 3 a month at this moment. This is because it has no pagerank. If you want to purchase a link (sitewide) for only $ 3 a month now, you can use the contact form and I will contact you.
The featured links are at 3 now. This is great. The price for a featured link is $ 5, and I didn’t advertised that much for the directory. I hope this number will increase when I receive pagerank.
The site has 315 pages indexed at Google and growing. It receives around 150 visitors a month from Google at this point. I run 1 adsense banner at the bottom of the page. I know it is not the right spot for it. But it don’t hurt the design this way. I want to keep it clean.

I started it from the beginning. I thought this domain was a good name for a directory. It does not earn much. a few dollars

Once you get some PageRank rolling you can start charging a few bucks for submissions, which really add up in the long run. I run a directory and she really makes a solid solid income. I started it almost 2 years ago though.
