While browsing some forums, I came on a very interesting thread. A person was selling a $ 100 coupon for PayPerPost. The person probably got it for free, but I don’t care :). I won the auction with my $ 25 bid. I didn’t think I should win it, I received a PM with the text that I was the owner of a $ 100 coupon for PPP. I signed up with them and created a opportunity for my blog.
The opportunity was to write a review about my web development blog and I was paying $ 10 for 1 review. The reviews could only be accepted by people that had a blog with a minimum pagerank of 3 and their alexa rank had to be under 700,000. With $ 100 on PPP and a minimum pagerank requirement of 3, I could only make 7 opportunities. I think it was worth the $ 25, but it was not worth $ 100.
The best part was reading the 7 reviews for my blog. I really enjoyed reading those. I never had someone reviewed my blog. The reviews were not only positive. There were also negative things about my blog. Like the template I use. It is all over the web. I need to change it to stand out from the crowd. You can expect a new template at the end of this month :smile:
There is also an opportunity for you :!:. Cause I liked the reviews so much (to read), I will give the bloggers that are reviewing my blog a free backlink from my blog. I think you should keep your template this way. It’s simple, clear and the navigation of it is fine. Can we read the reviews of your blog somewhere, or do you want to keep those reviews for yourself?
And is your “free backlink offer” inspired by John Chow, or is this an idea of your own? I like the idea, and maybe I will review your blog for free in Dutch! (if you can read it of course)
BTW: keep up your high post frequency! I like it..
