Hence, for the consistent health, calcium needs to be provided in adequate level. Deficiency of calcium often leads to the occurrence of bone disorders in dogs.

The diet should have adequate amounts of vitamin A also. To keep up the continuous health status, the healthy nutrition needs to comprise diets rich in vitamin A like carrots or cod liver oil etc. To prevent the occurrence of anemia in your dog, supply diets that are rich in iron. Foods like kidney, liver, red meat, apricots, peaches, prunes, egg yolk etc. are generally considered as feeds that are rich in iron content.
