The month April was not that successful in earnings as back in March. This is because the reduction in reviews about other sites. I decided to make it less because it was annoying my visitors. And I didn’t like it myself either. The good thing about April was its pagerank update and that my blog got pagerank 5. This gives me a lot more advertising opportunities, but more about this later.
First I was hesitating if I should reveal my earnings because of some reactions of the last blog post about it. But I decided to do it again. I am only revealing earnings from my blog, not from my other websites.
This is what I earned from my blog in April:
- Google Adsense: $ 25,75
This is almost $ 1 a day. It is not as much as last month, but I get paid less and less a click now. I had more clicks on the ads, but I got paid less
- Text Links: $ 40
Two more text links were sold in April, that brought in $ 40 - Sponsored Reviews: $ 120
I did a couple of reviews but not as much as last month. This still is a nice income stream for this blog.
That brings in a total of $ 185,75. I am still happy with this amount. Of course I wish I made as much as last month. But I cant win every time

Keep up the good work. Multiple people have told me the first $100 is the hardest $100 you’ll ever make while the first $1000 might be the easiest. Especially with TLA’s and Review Me’s you’re doing quite fine!

Like others have said, every bit helps. That could take care of a bill or two. Your point about the reviews is a good one. I find myself struggling in the balancing act of making my blog profitable and still a good resource for my visitors. The line for each site is different I think.

Don’t ever apologize for how your run your blog. If you want to add paid reviews, you should. Your site is PR5 and you should charge accordingly too.
Your earnings aren’t bad, but you can make more through the reviews. I saw you information on DP, BTW.
