First of all I want to thank everyone that is subscribed to my RSS Feed. It took a long way to get more than 100 RSS Subscribers. My goal is to have at least 500 RSS Subscribers at the end of 2007. If you aren’t subscribed yet, please do it now by clicking the RSS button on the top of the sidebar. I am also heavily promoting this blog. I submit the blog everyday to at least 5 directories. This will improve my link popularity a lot. I hope to catch a pagerank 6 in the next Google update.
Here you see a graph of the RSS Subscribers from this blog (all time):
You see it really started at the beginning of February ‘07, In February you also see 2 big spikes. This was due two frontpage hits at Digg. I use FeedBurner for these statistics, I recommend everyone thats want those stats to sign up with them.
Why I pay attention to this is very clear to me. Advertisers are looking at a site before they are spending money on it. If they see a high RSS Readership they will know that the site is receiving traffic and is a good place to advertise.

wow, congrats on this…how did you manage to change the link on the top of the page to your feedburner. and the best part with the spikes is that it has increased with each spike…

congrats on surpassing 100. i breifly passed the 400 mark earlier this week because i dugg, but now my count is down to 107 where it normally stays. o well.
what im saying is to gradually increase your count is the best way.
