This is a niche with a lot of money. And poker is amazing popular nowadays. I bought a cheap poker domain at NamePros and made a blog on it: Poker Merchandise. As you can see on the anchor text I just used, my plan is to sell poker merchandise, like poker chips, poker tables or poker glasses.
I don’t know if this is going to be a success, but my investment was $ 20, so I will not loose a lot of money when it fails. First mission is to attract some visitors. I need to enlarge my network of sites. At this point I have vacation and much time. So expect a flood of directories also in the next few weeks ![]()

Good luck with the new site. You’re dead on with poker being a niche with a lot of money, but it’s also starting to get a little crowded. Better to get in on it now than later down the road.

New WSOP champion crowned, might want to post about it.
I was also thinking of starting a poker site. I used to play all the time, but since I live in the US, I don’t want to play online for free. A casino has some free tournaments coming up, so I may try to join those.

It’s obviously a niche if done correctly will attract some attention to your site. If you can engage your readers and develop a community around it your off. Either way Im sure you can recoop costs yearly through PPC and other forms of revenue.
