Recently I launched a new website, a web directory. It is not a normal directory but a bidding web directory. A bidding web directory is very simple to use but it is not free. A link has the minimum price of $ 1 and the top price is all up to the customer, I even saw some bidding directories with number one links over $ 3000, which is serious money.
The domain was for sale at the digital point forums and I really liked it. The next plan is to promote it big time. I already ordered some sponsored links in posts at several popular and less popular blogs, currently there are already 20 listings with a number one listing of $ 6.
I am trying to get as many backlinks now and get a good alexa rank. People say alexa is not important, but it is for advertisers and people who want to buy links. In fact, I always check alexa rank when I decide to buy a link on a certain website. To start a site like this is not time consuming. Only thing you have to do is buy the link bid script and get a domain. Than you can start to promote it and get traffic for it!
This week I will also make a post about how my arbitrage went. I made profit so far, but I am not sure if I should continue it, stay tuned.

I was going to start one of those on my BottomUpSites.com domain. I am just having trouble finding link bid scripts to work on Windows.
If I ever get it going, maybe we can trade links?

I was browsing through the DP forums the other day and I think I came across that website!
I was also thinking to myself “man…those kind of directories that bid for the top spot are making a lot of money.” I’ve seen a few other directories like that and they sell a ton of links…It’s a great way to earn a little extra money.
Good luck promoting it!
