I was browsing the web and this image was getting my attention:

This picture was taken in “Wu Han” (China). I don’t know if the fish is feeling any pain when they are getting the tattoos. But I don’t think so. The customers can choose which fish they want. There are many different characters such as: Dragon, Wealth, Happiness, you name it !!
These fish are very popular because they are supposed to bring you good luck.

You dont think they feel the pain of getting a tattoo. how thick are you?
do we not feel pain when we get a tattoo? research proves that all animals feel pain. and im pretty sure a fish is an animal. So im pretty sure that a fish would feel the pain of a needle penatrating their skin over and over again

The process is actually quite painful if you think about it. There are two ways they go about. The first is the physically inject the dye into the fish. Many fish dye in this process and the ones that survive generally dont live as long as their natural counterparts. The other method that they use on fish is lazer dyeing. These Parrot cichlids are probably tattooed by the lazer method. The creators of the method swear that the fish arent harmed in any way by the lazer but still. Aren’t the natural fish just as pretty? Tattoed Mollys are another big fad here in America. People will literally buy them for Valentines day for their significant other, only to bring them back to the store complaining that the fish just sporaticallty died. I don’t think thats worth it. But thats just me. Do some reasearch on it and you’ll find alot of controversy over it.
